I Heart the SinuCleanse Squeeze

I have been feeling miserable for the past few weeks. Thanks to the recent flooding, the air is polluted with dust, pollen and mold. My sinuses feel like they have been filled with cement.

In an effort to clear my head, I tried Zyrtec, over-the-counter sinus medication and nose spray. While the nose spray helped for an hour or two, I had to use four or five times the daily recommended dose to enjoy continuous relief.

I know what you're thinking, but I'm not addicted to nose spray. I can quit any time I want to. Really. I can.

Sensing my agony, my dear neighbor suggested that I try the SinuCleanse Squeeze.
The Squeeze, which is similar to the Neti Pot, is a nasal rinse device that is said to provide "Safe & Immediate Sinus Relief."
I will admit that I was a little skeptical, but agreed to give it a try. What did I have to lose? I was quickly turning into a cranky mouth breather with chapped lips and a red nose.

The SinuCleanse Squeeze was incredibly easy to use. I filled the bottle with lukewarm water and added one of the enclosed saline packets. A quick shake ensured that the powder was dissolved. I then inserted the tip into my nostril, leaned forward over the sink, made sure I was breathing through my mouth, and gave the bottle a squeeze. It was that easy.

The result was so disgusting that I will refrain from sharing the details. Suffice to say it was nauseatingly clear why I was having so much trouble breathing.

After I got over my initial repulsion, I realized that I could breathe clearly for the first time in two weeks. Oxygen was flowing freely through my sinus passages.

It was a Christmas miracle.

Since then, I have been using the SinuCleanse once in the morning and then again before bed. To say that I am feeling better is an understatement. My normally chipper demeanor has returned. I guess you could say that I'm just a precious ray of sunshine.

I to think that I owe it all to the SinuCleanse Squeeze.

*** The opinions expressed are my own.  The fine folks at SinuCleanse have no clue I exist. I purchased the SinuCleanse with my own hard-earned cash and have not been compensated in any way for my review.

Love that thing! And it's grotesquely awesome what it does for a person. :)

My husband's a big fan of what I tease him as Nose Douche. Not classy, but that's all I can think when I hear him sputtering in the bathroom...

He swears by it, though. Says he's never felt better.
