One Thousand Gifts (#19-36)

© shoutingforha

This is a continuation of the series I started last Monday.

I have to tell you that I have genuinely enjoyed keeping a list of thanksgivings this past week.  It is amazing how pausing to notice the little things can make such a difference in one's overall attitude.  I highly recommend it!

Continuing where I left off...

19.  My boy's freckled face.
20.  The sound of fallen leaves crunching under my feet as I walk.
21.  The fact that my boy still asks me to climb into his bed each night for snuggles and deep conversation before he falls asleep.
22.  Holding my hubby's hand while we drive in the car.
23.  Long phone conversations with my sister.
24.  Having a good friend that lives over the back fence.
25.  Curling up with a good book.
26.  Listening to the silly banter of my boy and his friends.  It is a never-ending source of laughter.
27.  Having a mother-in-law that has always treated me like I was one of her own children.
28.  Hearing the door open signaling that my hubby is home from work.
29.  Enjoying a delicious meal with my family.
30.  Windows that open to let in the cool fall air.  I am so glad that we replaced them all those years ago.
31.  Sleeping in on a Saturday morning.
32.  Phone calls from my nieces.  I love hearing their little girlie voices.
33.  The sound of all the voices singing in unison at church.  I love the way it echoes off the high ceiling.
34.  Talking to my mom while I run errands or tidy up my house.  It makes the work go so much faster.
35.  My hubby calling to tell me he's on the way home from the airport after a business trip.  I hate when he has to travel.
36.  Making new friends.  It never gets old, no matter what my age.
