Cleaning the Microwave

© shoutingforha
A certain member of my family, who will remain nameless, refuses to cover his plate when he warms things in the microwave. The result is a microwave that is filled with splattered, crusted on food bits. Yuck!

It is really disgusting. So gross in fact that I can hardly bear to place my plate of food into the microwave to be rewarmed. What if some of the nasty bits fall onto my food and contaminate it?! It would be inedible.

Here's my quick and easy solution...

Place a measuring cup of water into the microwave. Zap it for about 5 minutes or until the water starts to boil.

Grab a paper towel and wipe the grime away. Presto! Your microwave will be spotless. What could be easier?

Best of all, you don't have to use any chemicals or harsh cleaners. Give it a try.

Great trick - I have a nameless someone in my house who leaves my microwave a mess on occasion, I'll be sure to try this!
