It's official. I am a streaming stock quotes junkie. I can't help myself. It is exhilarating to watch money being made or lost.My husband is the one to blame for my compulsion. He set up my MacBook with a live streamer so that I could keep my eye on our investments when he was unavailable.
In the beginning, I was annoyed. I would glance at the numbers periodically throughout the day... mainly when he would call. Now, I can't stop watching them. It is a real problem. I find myself purposefully avoiding my daily tasks so that I can sit and watch the numbers tic up and down.
Today is no exception. Thanks to Bernanke and the Fed cutting both the Funds rate and Discount rate by half a point, I have been treated to quite a show.
