Halloween

© shoutingforha
I love Halloween. Not all that creepy, bloody, horror movie kind-of stuff. I love clever costumes, parties and trick-or-treating. I love the crisp cool night air. I love seeing the expression on my son's face as he sorts through his mountain of candy.

In my last post, I talked about my son's recent obsession with Star Wars. When it came time to pick out a Halloween costume, there was little question who he wanted to be... the villain of all villains, Darth Vader.

In years past, I have channeled my inner Martha Stewart and made my son's costume. This year, I simply didn't have the time. Thankfully I was able to find a realistic looking Vader costume at Target. My son decided to use his Darth Vader Voice Changer Helmet and his Darth Vader/Anakin Color Change Light Saber to complete his transformation into the Dark Lord. He really looked great.

We all had a fun time strolling through the neighborhood, knocking on doors and filling our bucket with chocolate treats. I think we have enough candy to last until Easter.
