I was tucking him into bed and he started talking about his day at school. During the course of our conversation, he told me how a little girl in his class got in trouble today for tattling on him for no reason. He exclaimed how happy he was that his teacher "did the right thing."
He then asked me if I knew what he does if another student says that they are going to tell on him. I, of course, had no clue. His response was quite comical...
"When someone is going to tell on me, I just change the subject and start talking to them about something else. They always forget. Me, I never forget. I have a brain."I'm not sure if I should be amused or alarmed. The boy is entirely too smart for his own good.
