Surprise!

My twin sister went into labor on the way home from work Tuesday night. Her due date was nearly three weeks away. Thankfully, her sweet hubby was driving.

Instead of heading up the winding mountain road to their home, they made a b-line to the hospital. Their second beautiful daughter was born after an incredibly short three hour labor. Every child's birth should be so easy!

Even though she only weighs 5 pounds, my new niece is perfectly healthy. She was doing so well, in fact, that my sister and brother-in-law were able to take her home today. They are now a family of four.

Once again, I am incredibly sad that I live 1200 miles away. This Aunt wants to snuggle that baby! If things go as planned, we will be making a trip out in a few weeks to see the newest member of the family. I can't wait.
