Ketchup and Mustard

I was watching Man vs. Wild with the boys last night. During the introduction, various images were flashing on the screen while Bear Grylls chattered about the episode we were about to watch. There is one image, in particular, that I wish I could get out of my mind.

The camera zoomed in on Bear's face as he was putting a plump, juicy, yellow caterpillar or grub into his mouth. As he took a bite, a massive amount of ketchup and mustard like slime shot out all over his chin.

We all screamed (literally) in horror. It was truly one of the most disgusting things I have ever seen. I want to cover my eyes and start screaming again just thinking about it.

As I tucked the boy in to bed, we started joking around about what the yucky guts should be called. When the boy blurted out "catstard and mustsup," we started laughing uncontrollably. (Note how he used the alternate spelling of the word.)

I think I'm partial to catstard. It has a nice ring to it.
