Our family is fundamentally opposed to purchasing a brand new, off the showroom floor, vehicle. It is just not something that we do... not that there's anything wrong with that. So don't get offended all you new car drivers out there. We just do things a little different.
If you ask the boy if our family will ever buy a brand new car he will proclaim, "No! Buying a new car is like buying a block of ice, parking it in the sun and watching it melt." The hubby is so proud.
Anyways, the hubby bought a 1999 GMC Suburban with a mere 52,000 miles. Other than a few spots on the carpet, the thing is in mint condition. The purchase price was a whopping $4200. You know how I love a good bargain.
The hubby, who has named the car "Mo" as in Moby Dick, is a big guy and thus likes to drive a big car. The truck provides him with plenty of room and will be perfect for carting around guitar gear. In addition to being insanely smart, the hubby is an accomplished musician.
I am looking forward to using the truck for some good-old-fashioned family road trips. Grand Canyon here we come! With all this room, the beast will be able to tag along too. I'm sure he will be thrilled.

Congrats on the new car! That's great! It looks and sounds really nice for being that old!!
Way to go family!
MO is a nice looking vehicle.
Big, sturdy, roomy and all for a good price.
Enjoy!
