One Thousand Gifts (268-282)

"If you want to turn your life around, try thankfulness.
It will change your life mightily." - Gerald Good

268.  A cold nose nudging me for attention.
269.  Heavy rains that wash away the winter grime.
270.  Lightening flashing across the night sky.
271.  Hitching a ride to book club with my friend.  The best part...  Sitting in my driveway and just talking for over an hour.
272.  The smell of a cigar box.
273.  Starting a new book and becoming engrossed in the story within the first few pages.
274.  A son's heart of concern for his mother.
275.  Wearing flip flops in March.
276.  Fourth graders folk dancing.
277.  Sleeping in one of my hubby's old t-shirts.  Sometimes there is nothing more comfortable.
278.  A perfectly poached egg.
279.  Buds appearing on the giant maple trees... sure signs of spring.
280.  The sweet little voice of a one-year-old learning to talk.
281.  A chilly Sunday afternoon...  The perfect excuse to stay home and relax.
282.  Boy's smacking on sour apple gum.

It's the little thing in life that we should all be thankful for, every day.

I can still comment on Multitude Monday lists on Saturday right? :)

First, Laska the love kitty (my cat) is not a fan of the picture – I think it’s just fine though  And today this was my fave from your list: ~ 282. Boy's smacking on sour apple gum. (because I’m old enough to remember when ALL candy was sweet – I still don’t get the sour candy – but they love it – so God Bless them) {smile}

I was blessed by this today. Thank you.

May God watch over and guide you and all of yours.
