When I came home, I noticed a pile of presents covered in pink snowman paper underneath the tree. My guys had been wrapping my gifts while I was gone. They are sneaky like that.
I love the way my guys wrap gifts. My boy always uses entirely too much tape. The gifts are not adorned with spectacular bows or ribbons. The corners of the paper aren't neatly or precisely folded. And instead of gift tags, they like to scrawl my name on the paper with a Sharpie.
I wouldn't have it any other way.
Seeing the first presents underneath the tree has made me even more excited for Christmas. I am looking forward to leisurely days spent with my guys, eating good food and most of all, seeing the overjoyed look on my boy's face on Christmas morning.

We aren't putting presents under the tree this year. we're waiting until Christmas eve. I miss them already.

We usually don't put any gifts under the tree either. In fact, my presents are the only ones under there. I think my boy was so excited that he couldn't bear to wait until Christmas Eve!
There's *nothing* like this kind of sweetness- misshapen edges and over-taped and all!
{Love this!}
