The boys and I took a drive out into the countryside of Tennessee on Saturday.  We stopped off for lunch at the Beacon Light Tea Room, a Southern-style eatery that has been open since 1936.  The biscuits were amazing.

We also stopped off at a junk store in Centerville.  The sweet, old widow who owns the store told us about the economic woes of those living Hickman County.  It made us sad for her and, at the same time, incredibly thankful for what we have.
