I love Saturdays. It is always nice to get to spend the entire day with my boys. Today was one of those days.
Our day began with an excursion to the Frist Center in Nashville. After touring the wonderful Monet to Dali exhibit, we spent several hours in the Artquest Gallery creating our own masterpieces. No doubt the museum will be opening a new wing to display our art any moment now!
All that creativity caused us to work up quite an appetite so we decided to grab some lunch at Hot Diggity Dogs. In my opinion, they make the best hot dogs in town. The weather was absolutely perfect so we enjoyed our Chicago style dogs out on the back porch.
After our bellies were full, we decided to take a stroll and go feed the ducks at Centennial Park. Yes, that's a picture of my son feeding the geese by hand! I couldn't believe how friendly they were.
As a side note, I have to give a special thank you to the nice lady at Bread & Company for giving us some day-old bread for free. Who says there aren't nice people in the world?
It was a wonderful day.
