I am happy to report that winter has finally come to Tennessee. The temperature last night was a frigid 18 degrees. BRRRR!
We even had a few flurries of snow late Thursday night. I am hoping that it is a sign of a few good blizzards to come. What can I say? I am a cold weather girl at heart.
The trees have officially shed all their leaves. My yard is now in desperate need of a good raking. This is the one task that makes me wonder why I love our massive yard and old mature trees. Wouldn't a postage stamp sized lot with matchstick trees be easier?
Maybe I will be blessed with a gale force wind that will magically blow all my leaves into my neighbors yard. I can always dream...
