The Prank

The hubby loves to take long, scalding showers in the morning. The boy, who also likes to burn the grime from his flesh, knew this fact and decided to take advantage of this bit of knowledge.

He crept into the steamy bathroom, ice cold cup of water in his hand. Unnoticed, he flung the water on the hubby's toasty skin and sprinted from the room.

Unfortunately, the prank did not result in the hysterical laughter that the boy was hoping for. The hubby started screaming in pain. The boy, who suddenly felt terrible, crept back into the bathroom and scrawled an apology on the mirror.

It made for quite and exciting morning.
