Sick

Dear readers, I am sorry for the lack of stimulating content here on the Ha family blog. I succumbed to a horrible stomach virus last Friday and spent the better part of three days laying in bed.

While I was able to catch up on some much needed rest, the whole event was quite miserable. I was too nauseated to read, so my days were spent either sleeping or lying around with my eyes shut in an effort to keep from throwing up.

My hubby managed to take care of his ailing wife and keep the boy clean, fed and sufficiently entertained. What a good man I have.

By Sunday morning, the hubby wasn't feeling too hot himself. For the past week, he had been struggling with what he thought was a bout of seasonal allergies. It is one of the many plights suffered by nearly all who dare to live here in Tennessee.

When he began to suffer from extreme fatigue and rattling lungs, the hubby knew that something else was at play. A quick trip to the doctor for a few x-rays confirmed what we had suspected. The man had pneumonia.

For the next few days you can find my hubby doing what he hates the most... sitting around doing absolutely nothing. Can you hear the excitement in my voice?

I am happy to report that I was finally feeling like myself again today. To celebrate, I spent the afternoon trying to regain some type of order in my home. It's amazing how messy things can get when the only two adults in the house spend their days barfing and wheezing.
