I just returned home after helping out with my boy's class Christmas party. It's hard to tell who was more excited about the official start of Christmas break... the boy or me.
I may have even let out a little cheer as we pulled out of the parking lot.
Unlike many parents, I enjoy time off from school as much as any child. I am looking forward to being lazy for two entire weeks. Just think... no schedule, frenzied mornings or homework. Ah, freedom.
I am off to spend the afternoon doing as little as possible. In my absence, I leave you with a delightful rendition of one of my favorite Christmas songs.
For the record, I have no idea who is singing. I stumbled across the song many years ago and can't help but giggle each time I hear it. Enjoy!

I feel so, so guilty for laughing at that song. I can't help it. My kids were screaming at me to turn it off. Torture!
