426. That despite the rain, my boy got to enjoy Field Day.
427. Our dear friend's newborn son. There is nothing better than holding a sleeping baby on your chest. I was lucky enough to get to snuggle the little guy for over two hours.
428. The wonderful fact that Cicadas seem to rest at night. The silence is such a welcome respite after the constant screeching during the day.
429. The deep green of our lawn. It never ceases to amaze me how lush and thick the grass is without any effort on my part. Oh, the joys of living in the South.
430. Dozens of phone calls, emails and kind comments about my son's talent show performance. You people really know how to make a little boy feel special.
431. An impromptu lunch with my dear friend.
432. Bossypants. Can I tell you how much I am enjoying reading Tina Fey's new book? It has filled me with laughter on almost every page.
433. An army of muddy and sweaty boys, laughing after a birthday party. I'm so glad my son has so many great friends in his life.
434. Stuffed grape leaves from the Greek Cafe.
435. Talking with my hubby in the quiet after the boy has gone to bed.
436. Having only 1 1/2 days left of school. The boy and I are practically giddy.
