The Weber Fireplace

My hubby had a birthday last week... number 42 to be exact.  Much to my dismay, the man is incredibly difficult to shop for.  Not only does he have pretty much everything a man could want, quite often, the random gift that he would like is insanely expensive or something that I am unable to pick out by myself (think a vintage guitar, etc.).  It can be quite frustrating.

This year, I was determined to find a gift that my hubby would really love.  After much debate, I settled on the Weber Fireplace.  We have talked about getting a fire pit for quite some time and when I saw that Weber made a fireplace, I knew I had found the perfect gift.  I also purchased a cover to protect the fireplace from the never-ending Tennessee rain.

The Fireplace is situated amidst a grouping of chairs on our back patio.  It is the perfect place to relax and chat after a long day.  I have a feeling my hubby and some of his friends will make it their regular place to sit and enjoy a nice cigar or pipe and some good conversation.  

One of my favorite features of the Weber Fireplace is it's lid.  The purpose of the lid is twofold.  First, and foremost, it makes extinguishing the fire a snap.  Simply remove the ring using a pair of grill gloves and lower the lid over the base.  It's that easy.

Second, it keeps the heat from escaping out the top.  While this isn't a big issue right now, I think it will be most helpful during the fall and winter when the temperature at night can be quite cold.  I predict that we will be spending countless hours enjoying it's warmth in the coming months. 

If you are looking for a fire pit, consider buying a Weber Fireplace.  Like all Weber products, it is exceptionally well built and should stand the test of time.  Plus, it's clean lines make it one of the most attractive outdoor fireplaces on the market.
