A Hat for Peanut

I learned to knit about 4 years ago. I am embarrassed to say that I am still unable to purl or do anything other than that one stitch.

For some reason I find it incredibly difficult. My form is all wrong too. I'm sure that my 92-year-old neighbor would be horrified by my haphazard knitting style.

Knitting has always been something that I pick up when there is absolutely nothing better to do. The past few weeks have been different. I have suddenly become almost compulsive about it. I find myself knitting anytime I have a spare minute or two.

My latest creation is a hat that I made for my niece (affectionately called Peanut). I love this little hat! It is so cheerful, so girlie. I cannot wait to see it on her sweet little head. I love being an Aunt!
