Good News and A Lazy Dog

I just found out that the cute little meat-and-three in my neck of the woods, the one I've been meaning to try for months, is the sister restaurant of my favorite Southern-style eatery in Nashvegas. Can you feel my excitement?!

I may have to run out an buy some elastic-waisted pants... this could be dangerous.

Upon returning home, I found the Beast sound asleep on the sofa.

He didn't even open an eye when I walked in. What you can't see in the picture is that the dog had actually pulled half the pillows off the sofa prior to climbing up. I am so happy that he made himself comfortable.

I am equally as happy that he felt the need to spring into action at the sound of someone entering our home.
